Actor Lee Byung-hun will be presented as a presenter at the closing ceremony of the 74th Cannes International Film Festival.

BH Entertainment, his agency, announced on the 30th that Lee Byung-hun will attend the closing ceremony held in Cannes, a resort town in southern France on the 17th (local time) as a presenter, and that the award category has not been decided yet.

Among Korean filmmakers, director Park Chan-wook, who was a judge at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival closing ceremony, stood on the stage as a presenter, and Lee Byung-hun is the first actor to be present.

Lee Byung-hun appeared with Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, Jeon Do-yeon and Im Si-wan in the disaster film ‘Emergency Declaration’ directed by Han Jae-rim, which was invited to this year’s Cannes Film Festival in the non-competition section.

Meanwhile, at this year’s film festival, director Hong Sang-soo’s ‘In Front of Your Face’ was invited to the newly established Cannes Premiere section, and Song Kang-ho acts as a judge in the competition section.
