At the 172nd General Assembly of the Organization for International Exhibitions (BIE) held in Paris on the 20th and 21st of this month, the due diligence report of the candidate countries of Expo 2030 will be distributed to 179 member countries, and the 4th presentation (PT ) being held.

After the 5th competitive PT at the end of November at the end of November, the final decision on the location of the Expo 2030 will be made by a secret ballot of BIE member countries. At the moment, as most member countries are attending after deciding which country to support, it seems that this 4th PT will really be a turning point.

The host countries are Korea (Busan), Saudi Arabia (Riyadh), Italy (Rome), and Ukraine (Odessa), and it is a two-way match between Korea and Saudi Arabia.

During the 4th PT and the reception, the heads of the four main groups are said to be mobilizing global networks to appeal for support to host the Busan Expo.

Afterwards, business leaders will move to Hanoi, Vietnam, and attend the ‘Korea-Vietnam Business Forum’ to look for ways to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries. Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin is also expected to attend the Vietnam schedule.
