Lee Jang-won, a member of the band Peppertones, has recently been diagnosed with vocal cord nodules. This news was revealed by his wife and singer, Bae Da-hae, in a video uploaded on their YouTube channel titled ‘Jang Won-ri reveals the most beautiful parts of her body and voluntarily gives up coffee and alcohol.’
Both Bae Da-hae and Lee Jang-won visited an otolaryngology clinic together to have their vocal cords examined. While Bae Da-hae received a diagnosis of congested vocal cords with possible gastric acid issues, Lee Jang-won was unfortunate to be diagnosed with vocal cord nodules.
Upon learning about the condition of his vocal cords, Lee Jang-won made a surprising retirement announcement, stating, “I think I have to retire because I have vocal cord nodules.” However, Bae Da-hae tried to comfort him by clarifying that it wasn’t actually nodules and reassured him that talking a little less would be enough to prevent any negative impact on his singing ability.
Lee Jang-won and Bae Da-hae tied the knot in November 2021 but do not have any children.
