In an interview on the same day, Lee Jong-soo said, “It is true that we got married in secret. We have been married for three years,” he said.
According to an interview, Lee Jong-soo married a US citizen Lee in 2012 and obtained permanent residency, and divorced in 2015.
He said, “We got married in 2012. It is true that we got married in secret. We had been married for 3 years. We got married in secret because I was a celebrity. I didn’t talk about it because I was uncomfortable and my ex was uncomfortable.”
Regarding the reason for the divorce, he said, “My ex-wife suffered a lot because I kept moving back and forth between the United States and Korea, and my body was far away.”
