On the 30th, Lee Jun-seok, the representative of People’s Power, evaluated, “Looking at the trend of corona 19 confirmed cases, it seems reasonable to remove the outdoor mask (by the Moon Jae-in government).”
On the same day, CEO Lee said on Facebook, “The Yun Seok-yeol administration should not take a defensive stance against quarantine.”
It seems to be a rebuttal to what Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the takeover committee, pointed out the previous day as “too hasty judgment” about the government’s policy that it is not necessary to wear a mask outdoors.
“Unlike other issues, this should not be seen as a conflict between the Moon Jae-in administration and the Yun Seok-yeol administration,” said CEO Lee.
“However, the quarantine authorities should carefully judge, guide, and promote the use of masks in areas where the distinction between indoors and outdoors is ambiguous and in crowded public transportation,” he said.
During the local elections, he added, “I will prepare guidelines within the party so that candidates can refrain from shaking hands with voters or handing out business cards as much as possible.”
