In addition, regarding the Daejang-dong issue, he directly visited the site and actively clarified the suspicion, while emphasizing the introduction of a real estate blank trust system for high-ranking public officials.

It seems that he has clearly expressed his will to break through the controversy head-on.

Democratic presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung, who attended the phased daily recovery inspection meeting, announced that he would push for additional payment of national disaster relief funds.

Although the implementation was part of it, he explained the reason why it was so small compared to other countries when considering the size of the gross domestic product.

“I think that additional support and general support are needed as a way of consoling and rewarding the people’s dedication and cooperation.”

Although he did not talk about the amount and time, he said that he mentioned at least 1 million won per person in the early days of Corona 19, and said he would find a possible way.

As for loss compensation for the self-employed and small business owners, he said, “The lower limit is currently set at 100,000 won, but it will be higher.

Regarding the criticism that the Ministry of Economy and Finance would react negatively, he emphasized, “If it is justifiable, the way will be opened, and we will discuss with the party and find a way.”

In the afternoon, we visited the construction site of the 1st Industrial Complex Neighborhood Park in Seongnam.

It is a place where 270 billion won is invested out of the 550 billion won recovered from the public interest through the Daejang-dong project, and Lee pointed out that if this place were left alone, only residential and commercial complexes would be built, not a park, and the profits would have been taken by the private sector.

“The residents suffered tremendous damage, and the private groups that received business development licenses at that time estimated it to be about 300 billion won (it would have taken).”

At the same time, he promised to push for a bill that would make it mandatory to secure infrastructure by recovering 100% of development profits in order to further block unearned income from real estate, and to raise the issuance limit of bonds for public development with guaranteed business feasibility.

He also promised to prevent excessive real estate ownership by high-ranking officials.

“(High-ranking public officials) introduced a blank trust system like stocks, except for essential real estate, and sold them all or consigned them to forcibly sell them…”

He also announced that he would introduce a real estate acquisition pre-examination system for middle and low-ranking public officials to prevent them from acquiring anything other than essential real estate.
