Muscat: Legends League Cricket 2022 The final is between the Asia Lions and the World Giants. The match will start at 8 pm Indian time in Oman. In the group stage, both teams won one game each. The Asia Lions are led by Misbah-ul-Haq and the World Giants are led by Daren Sammy.

Earlier, India were out of the Maharaja’s final. In the last group match, the World Giants defeated India by five runs. Chasing a target of 229, the Maharajas were bowled out for 223 for seven in 20 overs. Score: World Giants – 228/5 (20), India Maharajas – 223/7 (20).

The Maharajas needed eight runs to win the last over bowled by Brett Lee. Irfan Pathan, who scored 56 off 21 balls, was dismissed in the first over. Lee conceded just two runs in the 20th over. Naman Ojha (95 off 51 balls) and Yusuf Pathan (45 off 22 balls) were the other notable contributors. Wasim Jaffer was out for four off six balls and Stuart Binny was out for three off four balls.

Batting first, the World Giants scored 228 for five in 20 overs. Herschel Gibbs was the top scorer with 89 off 46 balls. Kevin Pietersen scored 11 off five balls and Jonty Rhodes scored 20 off 13 balls.
