Oman: The number of Kovid patients in Oman is declining every day. More than 200 cases have been reported in the past week. About 120 people were newly diagnosed with the disease yesterday, the health ministry said. This brings the total number of Kovid confirmed people in the country to 3,01,570.

4043 people have died so far. The total number of Kovid sufferers was 1.3 percent. 221 people became ill. So far 2,90,631 people have been diagnosed with the disease. According to the Department of Health, this is the highest cure rate since the epidemic began.

The previous day, 21 people had been hospitalized with Kovid. At present, only 169 people are being treated at the hospital. Of these, 75 are in the ICU. The number of people receiving the Kovid vaccine reached 23.36 lakh. 12.94 lakh people received the first dose. 10.42 lakh people received both doses. 29% received both doses. Vaccination has been well received in all governorates except Dhofar, officials said.
