A man in Canada went to a restaurant through heavy snow and was frustrated by the fact that it didn’t open. After confirming this fact belatedly, the restaurant went out to inquire about the man, saying, “We will provide free meals.”

Lai, who runs a restaurant in Ontario, recently uploaded a closed circuit (CC) TV video installed in front of the store door on her Instagram account. This was filmed around 1:33 pm on the 17th when a lot of snow of up to 55 cm fell.

At that time, a man walked through the snow falling to his knees to the door of the restaurant. However, after confirming that the door had not been opened, he covered his head and sat down. When he came to his senses, he wiped the snow off his clothes, got up and went back the way he had come.

The restaurant released the video and said, “We’re really sorry for closing. I was disappointed, but I look forward to seeing you again soon.” He also promised to serve the food the customer wanted to order for free.

In an interview with the media, the restaurant owner said, “The restaurant was closed due to a blizzard, but the next day I went to work and saw footprints in the snow and looked back at the CCTV footage. As soon as I saw the video, my heart broke.” He added, “We will provide a full service once we find a customer (in the video).”

However, it seems that the customer has not been found so far. On the 24th, the restaurant’s Instagram account produced and posted a poster looking for customers. “Please visit the restaurant again. We are waiting for you.”
