According to industry sources on the 5th, LG Energy Solution and Isuzu decided to jointly conduct a truck electrification project.
Isuzu plans to mass-produce an electric truck model of the semi-medium truck ‘Elf’ from next year.
Accordingly, LG Energy Solutions will supply cylindrical batteries to Isuzu for four years from next year. The estimated delivery volume is said to be more than 1 trillion won.
Isuzu is a company that specializes in the production of commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses.
The truck elves made by the company have significant sales worldwide. It was released in Korea in 2017 and the cumulative sales exceeded 2,000 units.
