LG launches two pre-grade Ultra series monitors in Taiwan

After yesterday’s Samsung, LG also released two “Ultra” series of high-end monitors in Taiwan today, namely 39.7-inch, 21:9 UltraWide multiplex monitors, and 32-inch/27-inch UltraFine Display OLED in two sizes Pro high-definition editing monitor.

The UltraWide multiplex monitor (40WP95C) uses Nano IPS display technology and is designed for a curved screen with a resolution of 5,120 x 2,160 (5K2K). It can cover 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, supports HDR10, has a brightness of 300 cd/m², and has two built-in 2W speakers. In terms of connectivity, it provides HDMI, DisplayPort, and two sets of Thunderbolt (one of which is USB-C compatible), and the Thunderbolt part can provide up to 96W of charging. What’s more special is that it also provides the function of automatically adjusting the brightness, and the built-in luminosity sensor can be used to adjust the brightness of the screen.

UltraFine Display OLED Pro high-definition editing monitors are divided into 32 inches (32EP950) and 27 inches (27EP950) two sizes. Both feature UHD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution and 250 cd/m² brightness with a contrast ratio of up to 1,000,000:1. Both models also provide HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C and other connection methods.

Naturally, as the highest-end display, this price cannot be too close to the people. Among the two, the UltraWide multi-tasking display is available for pre-order from April 1 to 12, priced at NT$49,900; while the UltraFine Display OLED Pro is available for pre-order from April 15 to April 26, priced at NT$99,000 for 32-inch, 27-inch NT$79,000.
