LG Smart TVs will support Nvidia GeForce Now gaming service

LG announced a few days ago that it will launch an application for its smart TVs to support Nvidia’s GeForce Now online game streaming platform. The GeForce Now program will be the first to be used in beta testing for some 2021 TVs, including 4K OLED, QNED mini -LED and NanoCell models are available, and users in 80 markets around the world can download and install them.

After installing the GeForce Now program, users can play 35 free games without requiring additional hardware as long as they have the corresponding handles. GeForce Now provides games including Rocket League, Destiny 2, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, and Crysis Remastered Trilogy. The games can be displayed at a frame rate of up to 60fps and 1080p resolution.

In addition to free services, GeForce Now also has two premium plans, Priority and RTX 3080. LG has not clearly stated whether their GeForce Now program will support the RTX 3080 plan. As for the specific supported TV models, LG will announce separately later.
