LG Twins recruit catcher Dohwan Heo… 4 billion won in 2 years

The LG Twins have signed catcher Dohwan Huh (37).

On the 30th, LG announced, “We have signed a contract with free agent Dohwan Huh for a total of 400 million won for two years.”

It is a condition of a down payment of 200 million won and an annual salary of 100 million won.

After graduating from Dankook University and joining the Doosan Bears in 2007, Dohwan Heo played for Nexen Heroes (now Kiwoom), Hanwha Eagles, SK Wyverns, and KT Wiz. Over 12 seasons, he batted .214 in 715 games and batted 10 homers and 115 RBIs.

After signing the contract, Dohwan Huh said, “I am grateful to the LG club for giving me a new opportunity. I will play with the determination to play my last player at LG, and I will do my best to help the team achieve better results. Also, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the club, coach, coaching staff, fellow players, and fans who have helped me a lot so far.”

LG, which lacked backup resources to support main catcher Yoo Gang-nam, made the home room stronger by recruiting Heo Do-hwan.

LG said, “We expect that Do-hwan Huh’s rich experience and good skills as a catcher will be of great help to the team.”
