Linders Diary: Day 24, Ibu Cheering, Ping Pong, and More

It’s been a few days since I submitted the last episode. But the hard work at Evian continues both on and off the pitch.

Of course, what we do on the pitch is the most important thing. Because we are preparing for the start of the new season. But there are a couple of events that we held at the hotel as a group.

There is a real competition in training. which was great to see We are in the third stage of our pre-season, the ‘we fight the world’ mentality continues. Now we have to play one game at a time. do it step by step Just focus on progress

We continue the theme ‘Championship’ and ‘Kid vs Old’ in the ultimate tournament. Although controversy persisted among the players over the fact that the team cut off the score early. according to allegations

There are moments in the game where different things I don’t like you and you have to deal with it. In this case, the other team couldn’t do anything…as Nathaniel Phillips said!

We also had a run set that included a crossbar shooting challenge, and we put it down as a team challenge. To boost the team spirit, the boys managed to hit the crossbar four times in their group. with the trainer that helped kill them or if any player heads the net immediately after the ball bounces off the crossbar The shooting will end.

Nat was the only one who even gave it a try to try it out… but he still made a mistake. Curtis was the only one who got hit. But he didn’t follow the tackles. if they can It means they don’t have to run anymore.

The team also cheered for Ibu to finish his last 1,000 meters. It clearly shows how he became part of this group.

Everyone had to run an extra 1,000m as fast as they could, but we had Mo and Sadio catching all the others. It was incredible.

Thiago is increasingly becoming a part of the team’s training sessions. He returned with minor injuries. which we are dealing with him It was wonderful to see him close to complete recovery.

We also have special guests working with us. A company called Neuro11 by Nicklas and Patrick did some extra work with our free-kick and penalty shooters. They provide the correct information for the players to find the correct flow sequence. And with this will make it more accurate. It gives players the right mindset. and how to reset it

Off the field we also have a double tennis tournament among the coaching staff, Vitor and myself. We haven’t lost a single time yet. And we can see from the score in the last game it’s clear that we will continue to be like this for a long time. Ray came down to play this game too. and play with Jurgen I think the mummy still tapes the smaller than him, to be honest! Haha!

On the last Tuesday night There is an annual table tennis tournament at the hotel. Millie said it was the first time in his life that he saw Bobby nervous, haha!

Once again, Mo deserves to be the winner. But there’s a huge commendation to his duo Matt for handling the pressure he’s paired with the three-time champion. and pressure from everyone before that The great thing to see here was that there was no one in the room who didn’t want him to win with Mo. I call him ‘Matt Mary’ now.

saying that Because Quinn Kelleher and Lee Richardson made it a worthy battle. The overall atmosphere of the competition gets better every year we do.

Robbo and Mick are a couple that the kids love so much because Mick spends all day practicing. and did not want Robbo to be disappointed

Mick is the one who cleans the room. and all our things He’s a great guy close to us and all the boys fit in really well with him. since covid He travels wherever we go.

Just like Jamie and his team, our security guards. That helps make sure everything is safe. and according to plan you don’t see them But they are always there. It’s our other great behind-the-scenes team.

Having them play ping pong is so funny. And it shows their different identity. But I think we’re all very happy that they’re better at securing them than ping-pong…

On Monday, Ben Fogel came to visit and gave us an inspirational speech. He gave a good example. many possible and the mind can control everything from swimming with crocodiles across the Atlantic Ocean “We all have to climb Everest,” was one of his words. It sounds philosophical, but it’s true.

The random conversation that day was awesome. Our life story is one that we should take as an example, and there are many things in common with us. and our season What we get from talking to him is that we can push ourselves a little beyond our limits.

like going to the Olympics If you have a unique story, different paths in the race, it’s incredible. I couldn’t have given them more respect for those who lived with a strong desire to overcome many limitations.

We have another game tomorrow. (Thursday) And another test against Bologna, we had a typical MD-1 in Evian’s unusual weather, heavy rain, but the preparations went well, Joel ‘our tower’. Score the winning goal from heading the set-piece. After Robbo opened the pedestal for him.

As I noted this morning Jurgen enters And immediately told that the Dutch women’s hockey team won. We have discussions on this along their journey. “It’s all about hockey!” I tease. It’s great to see the hard work pay off. Kara gave many congratulations from them. And good luck in the final against Argentina.

For us it’s great to see the new signings of Trent, Fabl and now Ali are all set. to have more time with them This is important for further work. And we are happy to create this journey together for Liverpool FC.

As the season nears its beginning I have less and less time to write, but I want you to know that we are on the right track. And looking forward to seeing you again at Anfield.

keep you together again
