This result is achieved by starting a healthy longevity diet at age 20. According to a study carried out by PLoS Medicine, if the diet is started at the age of 60, life expectancy increases by up to eight years.

The Longevity Diet is a diet that helps you live a long and healthy life. The Longevity Diet promotes a predominantly vegetarian diet, limiting meat and eggs. The diet was developed by Walter Longo, head of the Longevity Institute at the C Leonard Davis School of Gerontology in the United States.

According to Longo’s diet plan, vegetarianism is the number one thing to eat for longevity. And eat a small amount of meat and dairy products. This diet should be followed regularly. Sea fish are included in the diet. If the above cannot be completely avoided or their use limited, they can be added to give flavor when cooking vegetarian food. Apart from the taste, these should not become the main course. It is recommended to avoid them due to their high fat content.

Instead of milk and milk products such as cheese and butter, the diet suggests using goat’s milk, cheese and curds made from it. Goat’s milk is recommended for its mineral and anti-inflammatory properties. Five times a year one should abstain from food and fast. Fasting is sometimes called fasting.

Longo warns that longevity diets may not work the same for everyone.
Along with diet, regular exercise and lifestyle choices are factors that influence lifespan, the organization notes.
