Cristoforetti posted the ancient text on his Twitter account with a bilingual translation in English and Italian. The ancient text is from the “Preface to the Orchid Pavilion Collection” written by Wang Xizhi, a famous calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The original text reads: “Here is the sun, the sky is clear, the air is clear, and the wind is light. Looking up at the vastness of the universe and looking down at the a wealth of categories, it’s enough to entertain the eyes and ears, and believe in Coke.”

The ancient poetry website interprets this ancient text as: On this day, the weather is sunny, the air is fresh, and the wind is warm. Looking up to see the vastness of the universe, looking down and noticing the many things on earth, it is used to extend one’s vision, expand one’s mind, and it is enough to fully entertain the audiovisual entertainment.

Cristoforetti also attached three space photos, presumably her space-time photos of China’s Bohai Bay and Beijing by day and night.

In April this year, Cristoforetti and several other American astronauts took off in the spaceship “Dragon” developed by SpaceX and went to the International Space Station again. She was also the first European woman to command the International Space Station. The mission is expected to end in the evening of October 13, Central European Summer Time (early morning of the 14th, Beijing time), when Cristoforetti will return to Earth.
