Lotte announces training contract with Takuro Furuya “To build a body from scratch and fight” | Full Account

Furuya joined the team at the 6th pick in the 2018 draft out of Narashino High School.

Lotte announced on the 16th that it had signed a training contract with pitcher Takuro Furuya. The reverse number has not been determined. The right-hander, drafted 6th in 2018, played in two games in 2020, but has not played in the first team in the last two years.

Furuya, who comes from Narashino High School in his hometown in Chiba Prefecture, said through the team, “I would like to work hard every day to build my body from scratch and fight on the mound in perfect condition. The next year, I will be registered under control. I will do my best to contribute to the team’s victory.”
