Low-end vacancies are hit? It is rumored that NVIDIA is preparing to launch GTX 1630 to fill the gap of low-end graphics cards

According to foreign media VideocardZ, NVIDIA may soon launch a GTX 1630 graphics card. Its detailed specifications and information are available, but it will not be the Ampere architecture. It is estimated that it will be a product based on the TU117 core, but it will be much weaker than the GTX 1650 equipped with the same core.

Not long ago, AMD released the RX 6500XT and RX 6400 graphics cards, mainly against NVIDIA’s RTX 1050 Ti. The new card corresponds to such an old generation of products, the main reason is that AMD also found that the opponent had problems in the low-end product line, so it took the initiative to attack this market. And NVIDIA estimates that it will soon launch the GTX 1630 as an emergency response.

The specifications of the GTX 1630 are estimated to use a weakened version of the TU117 core, with 865 CUDA and 64bit GDDR6 memory. The final specification really sees what the old yellow knife method is doing this time.

Of course, this GTX 1630 graphics card is not supposed to support Ray Taracing and DLSS. The former cannot be afforded by the machine, and adding the latter will affect the status of the GTX 1650.

As for the price, it is estimated that the GTX 1630 will probably be similar to the RX 6400, or even cheaper. The former is the product of the 12nm process, while the latter is a newer 7nm process. For mature processes such as 12nm, the cost will be much lower.
