Doha 3 A three-day spectator event kicks off today at the Lucille International Circuit, the venue for the Formula One Qatar Grand Prix. 21st is the 20th round of Formula One. This is the first time Qatar has hosted Formula One.
Various events will be held in 3 fan zones over 3 days including training and qualifying rounds on the 19th and 20th and the official competition on the 21st. Spectators can also attend events in the fan zones depending on the ticket category. Admission is for ticket holders only.
The Lucille Circuit Sports Club will be open to the public from 10:30 a.m. today. This weekend car racing enthusiasts will have the opportunity to enjoy racing cars and watch fun and sporting events in the fan zone. There will also be live aviation training for spectators. Spectators can play the augmented reality race car on their mobile phones.
There will also be remote control race tracks, spectators taking pictures from the driver photo wall and the winners’ podium, real-time murals by artists, food and beverage outlets and F1 product outlets in all 3 fan zones.
VR and motion simulators in Fan Zone One to participate in e-sports every day. You can also enjoy major staging events. Fan Zone 2 also has F-1 simulators. Fan Zone 3 will also feature a Red Bull Moto stunt show and a live DJ. Authorities warned spectators to arrive early.
