Abu Dhabi / Jeddah | The Lulu Group Hypermarket opens in Taif, a major tourist destination in Saudi Arabia. The hypermarket will open at the City Walk Mall in Taif with an investment of 5 crore riyals.
Lulu Group Chairman M.A. Yusufali and Tamar Al Qureshi, Chief Executive Officer of Manasil Al Qubara Real Estate, signed the agreement in Makkah. Lulu Group Saudi Director Sheheem Mohammed and Jeddah Regional Director Rafiq Mohammed were also present.
The two-storey, two lakh sq ft hypermarket will open in January 2023.
With the opening of the Taif Hypermarket in Makkah province, more Saudis will be able to find employment, he said. Yusufali said. The excellent investment opportunities that exist in Saudi Arabia are encouraging to expand operations. Yusufali thanked the Saudi government for its cooperation.
The Lulu Group currently employs more than 3,000 Saudi nationals, including 26 Lulu hypermarkets, Aramco markets and the Saudi National Guard markets.
