On January 31, 2023, IGN released a report that well-known game console brands such as Xbox, Nintendo, and PlayStation have refused to attend E3 2023, which runs June 13-16.

The reason why the big three console brands are not attending E3 2023 is because PlayStation has not been at E3 since 2019.
While Nintendo will focus on its own shows, Nintendo Direct, and Xbox have confirmed that it is returning to Los Angeles to launch a new game. And show the game again this summer.
E3 2023 is scheduled to take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 13-16. The Entertainment Software Association with Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo have not yet commented on this report.
