Football fans are waiting to see him play. Even after PSG have played three of their matches since the French league, the superstar has yet to step down in front of fans in a French club jersey. PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino has shared the good news with fans that the question of Messi’s PSG debut will be raised.
The player was spending the holidays with his family after winning the Copa America with Argentina. Messi’s PSG debut was delayed by almost a month without any significant training. In addition to coaching PSG players, Messi also provides additional training to improve his physical condition.
Although Pochettino is not sure if this will be Messi’s PSG debut, he says that if all goes according to plan, Messi will play in the match against Reims.

“This is a very good week for Leo. Next week will be long, but if all goes well, Messi will be on the team and we hope Messi can play in the next match (against Reims),” Pochettino said.
Meanwhile, as the match against Reims is an away match for PSG, Messi and PSG fans will have to wait to see Messi play at PSG’s Stadium de Princes at Messi’s home club. Messi will make his debut at PSG’s home ground following Argentina’s 2022 World Cup qualifiers in the first week of September.
The player, who has signed a two-year contract with PSG, was unveiled in front of fans at the Park de Princes yesterday along with other players who have joined the team this season. Messi received a warm welcome at the packed stadium.
