The Income Tax department raided 22 places in Mumbai and Pune yesterday in connection with the players. In response, Thapsi took to Twitter. In three tweets, Thapsi mocked the raid.
Thapsi’s tweets begin by saying, “Three days of rigorous search in search of three things.” The actress then mocks the Revenue Department’s raid by saying three things.
3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily

Thapsi says he does not have a bungalow in his name in Paris, he has not received a receipt of Rs 5 crore and there was no raid in 2013. Anurag Kashyap has also been active on social media since the raid. Anurag Kashyap’s tweet sharing a picture with Thapsi.
Anurag Kashyap and Thapsi Pannu were the ones who constantly reacted against the central government, including the farmers’ strike. Actress Swara Bhaskar and director Anubhav Sinha came on stage to support the duo.

Sinha tweeted that she loves Thapsi and Anurag Kashyap. Swara Bhaskar tweeted that Thapsi Pannu is an amazing girl with rare courage and conviction these days. Swapri addressed Thapsi as a warrior.
However, the Income Tax Department explained that the raid was carried out in a tax evasion case. Multiple teams of the agency raided about 22 centers in Mumbai and elsewhere.
