Kuala Lumpur ∙ Indian players PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy are out of the quarters in Malaysian Open badminton. Second seed Tai Su Ying of Chinese Taipei defeated Sindhu (13-21,21-15,
21-13).
Sindhu showed strength by capturing the first game but Tai Su Ying took the match in the next 2 games. Tai Su won her sixth consecutive win against Sindhu yesterday. Pranoi was defeated by Indonesia’s Jonathan Christie (21–18, 21–16).
