Mamata Modi’s ‘mediator’; Supporting BJP: Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has accused Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of being an ‘intermediary’ with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also alleged that Mamata was helping the BJP by opposing the Congress.

Mamata Banerjee had attended a meeting of opposition parties convened by Congress president Sonia Gandhi in August. Shortly afterwards, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee for questioning in a money laundering case. It is clear that the Prime Minister does not want the opposition to be strong. There seems to be an understanding between the two that Delhi is yours and Kolkata is ours. Otherwise, Mamata would not have said unnecessary things about the Congress, ”he added.

In an editorial in Jago Bangla, the front page of the Trinamool Congress, it was mentioned that the opposition face against the Prime Minister was not Rahul Gandhi of the Congress but Mamata Banerjee. It was after this that Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary came on the scene with criticism against Mamata. The article says that the Congress is irrelevant and that the Trinamool is the real Congress.
