The pooja ceremony and switchover of the film directed by Robbie Varghese Raj starring Mammootty in Pala was held. This is a movie produced by Mammootty’s company after Nanpakal Neerath Mayakkum, Roshak and Kathal. S. George is the executive producer of the film. The story of the film is by Mohammad Shafi. Actor Ronnie David Raj has written the script with him.
This is also the directorial debut of Robbie, who was the cinematographer of Mammootty films such as Great Father and New Law. Mammootty will join the film on January 1. Mammootty plays the role of a cop in the crime investigation thriller.
Cinematography by Muhammad Rahil is composed by Sushin Shyam and the music is composed by editor Praveen Prabhakar. Dulquer Salmaan-owned Wayfair Films is distributing the film in Kerala. The main locations are Pala, Kochi, Kannur, Wayanad, Athirampally, Pune and Mumbai.
