Kochi: Malayalam film world pays tribute to veteran actor Innocent. Many of the colleagues could not bear the demise of the beloved actor. Many people reacted to the media with emotion. Actors including Mammootty had reached the hospital where Innocent was undergoing treatment the other day. Jairam reached the hospital and came back in a fit of rage. Dileep was in the hospital with red eyes.
Thousands of people turned up to see the beloved actor for the last time at the Kadavantra Indoor Stadium in Kochi. It was announced that the body would be taken from Kochi to Iringalakuda at eleven o’clock, but due to the crowd of mourners, the public darshan will continue in Kochi until noon. Since the morning, a huge crowd including children and women came to pay their last respects to Innocent. Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan, Kunjan, Sibi Malail, Faasil, Ivala Babu, Babu Raj, Siddique, Mohenjos, Madhupal, Ponnamma Babu and many other celebrities from the film industry, and political, cultural and social leaders paid their respects.
Taking to social media, Dileep wrote that the man who was always with me in life as a father, as a brother, as a guide has said goodbye. That voice gave me an address in the field of art. Later, even when he came to the cinema, it was his care that supported him. Dileep also noted that his comforting words are strong in life’s crises.
Actor Harishree Ashokan’s response is that he is lucky to be able to act with Innocent. He was praised for his small role in Godfather. I still remember that. It’s a big thing to have your own style. He said that Innocent was the one who received it.
Actor Jayasuriya’s response was that he could not believe that such a person had died before his eyes. Someone who has always been in contact rather than acting together. If he gets any new jokes, he will call and share. Jayasuriya said that Innocent was a person who interacted with everyone irrespective of their size.
Director Mohan recalled that theirs was a long-standing friendship. Only one person has pushed into his film career. That is Innocent. It is true that this death was expected. Even when she came back from knocking on many doors to act, she never cried, she laughed. Mohan said. Director CB Malail said that Innocent was a person who kept humor even in life.
