Man calls army colonel “greasy black” in Brasilia

The Federal District Civil Police (PCDF) identified a 69-year-old driver who committed racial slurs against a Brazilian Army colonel.

The aggressor is Agenor Ladislau Pinto, a retired servant of the Legislative Chamber (CLDF) and former driver of the Federal District Planning Secretariat.

The crime took place early Thursday night (23/3). After an argument in traffic, Agenor would have cursed the victim as a “black greasy man”. Then, after being filmed by the daughter of the military, the driver makes a gesture with his hand in front of his face, usually used to indicate a bad smell.

The PCDF launched a police inquiry to investigate the crime. If convicted, the driver could serve a sentence of 2 to 5 years in prison.

Agenor has a history of other confusions. In one of them, he would have attacked employees of a shopping center in Asa Sul, in 2003, with a baseball bat.

An occurrence registered by the Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF), at the time of the events, details that Agenor would have discussed with a person responsible for the mall’s parking lot. At the opportunity, he assaulted security guards with the object.
