HILL CITY, Minn. – One man was injured when he was shooting the Itasca County Sheriff dealers who responded to Sunday home attacks, the authorities said.

The incident was reported at 5:26 p.m. living on Walker Road, near Knock City, Itasca County Office Office said Tuesday.

"Deputies asked to contact them," says news release. "At one point, the matter got its weapon. The deputies also said their weapons."

The man, whose identity is still released, is continuing to receive treatment at Essentia Health-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, about 80 miles east of shooting.
