Manchester: English club Manchester United have intensified their efforts to hire a new coach. For this, United have prepared a shortlist of four coaches. Ralph Rangnick will not be with the team next season as coach, regardless of Manchester United’s performance. Under the current contract, Ranknick will become the team’s adviser at the end of the season.

With this, United activated the line-up moves to appoint a new coach. Four coaches are under consideration by United. PSG’s Mauricio Pochettino, Ajax’s Eric Ten Hogg, Spanish national team coach Luis Enrique and Sevilla’s Spanish coach Eulen Lapatogi have all been linked with a move to United. Former Tottenham coach Pochettino’s experience in the Premier League has attracted United management. Pochettino was first considered by United when coach Ole Soulshire was sacked. It was not easy for Pochettino to leave PSG as it was the season. It was in this context that United appointed Ranknick as interim coach.

Ranknick has suggested that Eric Ten Hogg be made the new coach. Rankin also points to the authentic performance of Ajax under Hogg. Enrique is being considered for the World Cup in Qatar as there are indications that he will step down from the Spanish team. Enrique is the coach who made Barcelona the Champions League winners. Lapatogi were shortlisted by United on the basis of their excellent performance in Sevilla. Ralph Ranknick has become United’s seventh coach since the departure of legendary coach Alex Ferguson in 2013.
