Mangaluru autorickshaw blast: Karnataka government wants NIA to take over investigation | Kerala | Deshabhimani

The Karnataka government wants the National Investigation Agency to take over the Mangaluru autorickshaw blast case. Home Minister Araga Gyanendra and DGP Praveensood, who visited the blast site on Wednesday morning, announced this while talking to the media. The state government has asked the NIA to take over the case. Central agencies are with the police as soon as the investigation has started. Both of them said that the case can be transferred immediately.

There are reports that the accused Muhammad Shariq has traveled all over Tamil Nadu and Kerala under a false name. In connection with the blast, the investigation was conducted at eight centers including Nagercoil, Kochi, Kanyakumari, Bengaluru and Mysuru. Muhammad Shariq’s WhatsApp photo is of the big Shiva idol at Isha Foundation, Coimbatore. The police said this was part of an impersonation.
