French publication ‘L’Equipe’ reported on September 1st that Verratti’s transfer to Qatar’s prestigious Al Arabi is imminent. PSG and Al Arabi have already reached an agreement on the terms of the transfer and are currently finalizing the details. This transfer marks the end of Verratti’s illustrious 11-year career in Paris.
The media also revealed that Julian Draxler, PSG’s attacking midfielder who was loaned out to Benfica last season, is expected to follow Verratti to Al Arabi.
According to France’s ‘RMC Sports’, Verratti’s transfer fee is set at 45 million euros (approximately 65.7 billion won). PSG initially aimed for a fee of up to 60 million euros (about 87.6 billion won), but both clubs have reached a satisfactory agreement.
