Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ successor to the popular PS5 launch title, Spider-Man, is expected to be released in 2023.
At the PlayStation Showcase held on the 10th, Insomniac Games’ official Marvel Spider-Man sequel, Marvel Spider-Man 2, was unveiled. In the video, Peter Parker, the protagonist of Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Miles Morales, the Ultimate Spider-Man, appear together to show off the action.
What stood out in this trailer was the synergistic play between the two Spider-Man. While Peter Parker uses physical skills and mechanical legs to fight battles, and Miles Morales reveals their individuality through actions using bioelectricity, he uses cobwebs to show cooperative play between the two heroes, heralding the possibility of cooperation.
Along with this, Venom wearing a symbiote appeared at the end of the video. It was all that appeared in front of the Spider-Man who defeated the enemies, but the PS5 unique graphic expression captured the more realistic and terrifying appearance of Venom. Although information about the story to be dealt with in the future, and who the host of Venom is, was not disclosed, but it is said that it was enough to raise the expectations of gamers.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released exclusively for PS in 2023, and Korean language support has yet to be determined.
Meanwhile, Wolverine was also released in the same Marvel game. The video shows a man drinking alcohol with blood on his hands in a bar that has been torn apart, but by inserting a scene in which a claw appears at the end of the bar, Wolverine is revealed as the main character. As the work is in the early stages of development, there is no additional information yet.
