Dubai: Six-time world champion Indian boxer Mary Kom lost in the final of the Asian Boxing Championships. In the 51 kg category, he lost to Nasim Kisaibi of Kazakhstan. Mary Kom, who was aiming for a gold medal in the competition in Dubai, had to settle for silver.
The Indian lost 2-3 in the match. This is Mary Kom’s seventh medal at the Asian Boxing Championships. He started in 2003 by winning gold. Mary Kom, 38, had a tough fight with the 11-year-old Kazakh star.
