Mass shooting in Chattanooga, Tennessee leaves six injured

Police in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States, reported at 10:48 p.m. Saturday night (28 May) local time. There was a firearm violence in the city’s downtown area. Six people were injured and the perpetrators were held in custody.

During the police walking to patrol the downtown area Hearing multiple shots of gunfire and seeing many people fleeing the area near Cherry St, officers detained one suspect and sent several wounded to hospital for treatment. Local nurses, with two of them having severe symptoms. And most of the wounded were teenagers or in their early 20s. Police blocked the road at the scene. But the incident did not pose a threat to the Chattanooga community.
