Notes on the Tiger
LSU 15-12 is in the South East Conference and concludes the regular season with the SEC through a game against Auburn starting on Thursday… the Tiger is No. 22 in the latest NCAA RPI ratings…. Fifth highest in the nation… the senior Gardaí Antoine Duplantis launched a three-dimensional homer in the eighth Saturday to LSU for a 3-2 victory over fourth quarter Arkansas… the home run for Duplantis was ninth of the season and 334 career winners… Duplantis No. 2 on the career list LSU career, 18 hits behind the first baseman Eddy Furniss (1995-98)… Duplantis already has an LSU record for the career bats (1,044), and shares the Triples record schools (15 ) with former baseman Todd Walker (1992-94)… Random musician Todd Peterson provided an amazing relief performance in the Saturday's Arkansas victory… Peterson put in the fifth inning and put four stop-in machines, which R Azorbacks limited to one with two walks and three strikes … The pitcher started at LSU on Saturday, the man he's right, Landon Marceaux, the best tour of the season, as he d. he worked five innings and Arkansas took two on seven with three walks and two strikes … he left the sophomore, Daniel Cabrera, the best winner in last week's games, batting .333 (5-for-1 5) with two duplicates, two homers, four RBI and five scored race… Cabrera launched a pair of single homers in Thursday's game in Arkansas, marking the second game of two homer of the season. He broke two dingers in the opening of the Tiger season on February 15 compared to Louisiana-Monroe … Friday was honored in LSU baseball squad Friday in graduation celebration Since the Tigers were playing in Arkansas last week and that they were unable to attend the start-up ceremonies on the LSU campus, the event was held in the hotel to honor the graduates… the semester from the LSU this semester is the infielder of Brandt Broussard (business administration), Antoine Duplantis (sports administration), undergraduate coach Jared Foster (sports administration), pitcher Caleb Gilbert (civil engineering), pitcher Clay Moffitt (finance) and the founder Chris Reid (sports administration)… also known as former LSU contestant, Mark Laird, who has graduated in animal sciences and was admitted to the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.
