◀ Report ▶

100 days before the 20th presidential election, we asked who you would vote for among the leading presidential candidates.

Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung 32.7 percent, People’s Strength candidate Yoon Seok-yeol 35.7 percent, Justice Party candidate Shim Sang-jeong 4.1, and People’s Party candidate Ahn Cheol-su 6 percent.

The gap between Lee Jae-myung and Yoon Seok-yeol was 3 percentage points, a close match within the margin of error.

Candidate Lee received high support in their 40s and Honam, and Yoon in their 60s and above and Daegu and Gyeongbuk.

In the MBC opinion poll earlier this month, right after the People’s Power candidate was confirmed, Yoon took a lead by 7.3 points, but in this survey conducted three weeks later, the gap was narrowed within the margin of error.

20% of the voters answered that there were no candidates or did not know their support, indicating that there are not a few voters who have not yet decided on a candidate to support.

If next year’s presidential election is held as a bilateral confrontation between Candidate Jae-myung Lee and Seok-yeol Yoon, the gap is within the margin of error with 38.3% Lee Jae-myung and 43.9% Yoon Seok-yeol, and 5.6%p.

I asked which candidate he thought was most likely to be elected president, regardless of who he supported.

Candidate Jae-myung Lee was 43.5 and Candidate Seok-yeol Yoon was 42.3%.

It was also within the margin of error with a difference of 1.2%p, but it was different from the simple support survey.

Regarding the nature of this presidential election, 36.8% said that a candidate for the passport should be elected to re-create the government, and 50.1% said that an opposition candidate should be elected for regime change.

The party approval ratings were 31.7% for the Democratic Party, 34.2% for People’s Strength, 5.1% for the Justice Party, and 4.3% for the People’s Party, and the evaluation of the president’s state management was positive at 42% and negative at 52.5%.
