The MDCA Red team won the Women’s Cricket League tournament at the Perinthalmanna Cricket Stadium. The Red team won three of their last three games. The Blue team became runners-up, winning two matches. Kerala Cricket Association member S Haridas distributed the trophy to the winners.
In the first match on Sunday, the MDCA Pink team defeated the Green team by five wickets and in the second match, the MDCA Red team defeated the Blue team by five wickets. Pink team’s Atulya and Red team’s attention Sumesh were selected as Player of the Match.
