Meat, flights, long-distance travel – can we still afford it?

Can we still afford our lifestyle in view of the climate crisis? We provide answers in the discussion material podcast.

The climate crisis is getting worse rapidly, in new studies scientists warn of devastating damage. All previous efforts to curb global warming fall short, in just a few years the first tipping points could occur, at which the natural balance on the globe would change irrevocably.

So should all citizens in this country also change their lifestyle? Is it still possible to eat meat when it is bad for the climate? And driving, flying, shopping – is all of that still acceptable? Shouldn’t each and every one practice renunciation? Even more: Should the state force us to give up? Lisa Fritsch, Sven Böll and I talk about this in the discussion material podcast. Please listen, it’s worth it.
