B‘Santa Maria’ is a new movie starring Bu Antony. The thriller is directed by newcomer Vinu Vijay. Vinu says that Babu Antony plays a media company owner in the film. The director revealed this in an interview with the Times of India. He also said that the shooting of the film will start by the end of October.

Babu Antony plays the role of Satya, a media company owner. Working for a media outlet like the BBC, Satya wants independence and works on her own. In the film, the background is that the police are investigating a murder case and Satya may be interested in the same case. We were afraid to approach Babu Antony with the story. Especially when a director like Mani Ratnam is filming with him. However, after telling the story, he agreed to do the film. We are trying to bring the vintage look of Babu Antony through this film.
