Medical and Engineering Admission: Petition Rejected | Kerala High Court | Medical, Engineering Admission

Kochi: The Kerala High Court has rejected a petition seeking admission to medical and engineering professional courses, considering only the marks of the entrance examination. The High Court order was issued on a petition filed by a few students and the CBSE Management Association. The petitioners had approached the court alleging that the state syllabus had given high marks to the students in the Higher Secondary examination in the state and if these marks were given for the entrance examination, it would affect their admission.

The court also directed that CBSE-ICSE students should be given the opportunity to upload the results of the improvement examination as soon as they are available. Students have been given time to upload the mark list for admission till date. The government had yesterday told the court that it would extend the time for improvement results of CBSE-ICSE students if AICT allows it.
