Mehdi shines in bowling too; Bangladesh win first Test against West Indies

Chittagong: Bangladesh won the first Test against the West Indies. The hosts have a 218 – run lead at stumps on the third day. Bangladesh, who started the second innings by beating the Windies by 259 in the first innings, are 47 for three. Bangladesh scored 430 in the first innings.

Bangladesh got off to a bad start in the second innings. With just 33 runs on the scoreboard, he lost three wickets. Shadman Islam (5), Tamim Iqbal (0) and Najmul Hussain Shanto (0) were the other wicket-takers. Rakhim Cornwall has two wickets in hand. Shannon Gabriel took one wicket.
