Mick Schumacher admits that “discussion” about 2023 with the Haas F1 Team is now on track.

The relationship between Mick Schumacher, who is struggling, and Guenther Steiner, who represents the Haas F1 Team, has deteriorated, but they say they are now in a calm waters with each other.

“I have never doubted myself,” F1 legend Michael Schumacher’s son Mick Schumacher told Silverstone.

In fact, Mick Schumacher says all criticisms motivated everyone to “more than ever” show that he deserves to participate in F1.

Meanwhile, Guenther Steiner also told RTL that “what people say, what they say to me, and what Mick and I say to each other are always different.”

2022 Kevin Magnussen, who has surpassed Mick Schumacher in the Haas F1 Team, also defends the 23-year-old Schumacher.

“You shouldn’t criticize him. He just rolls the ball and gains momentum and it will work,” said experienced 29-year-old Kevin Magnussen.

“Mick won the title in F3 and F2. He proved worthy of his position in F1. He is very talented.”

Former F1 driver Timo Glock said he hopes the Haas F1 Team and technical partner Ferrari will agree to bring the team together until 2023.

“Another year at Haas will be the right step for his growth,” Timo Glock told Sky Deutschland.

Meanwhile, Mick Schumacher admits that contract negotiations are currently underway.

“Discussion is held daily,” said Mick Schumacher.

“It will probably go into more detail after or during the summer vacation.”

Mick Schumacher, who had not scored points in F1 until now, finished in 8th place at the F1 British Grand Prix and won the long-awaited first prize. “I think it’s great to be able to move away from those questions from the media and focus on the really important things of racing and driving,” he said.
