Foreign media reported on the 30th (local time) that Microsoft (MS) is preparing an in-house program for the Android ‘Surface Duo’ dual-screen foldable smartphone series.

According to reports, references to the ‘Insider Program’ were found in the latest Android update delivered to the Surface Duo. “The Surface Duo team has been using the Insider program internally for several months,” the source said. However, at this time, only users who have been approved by Microsoft can participate in the Insider program.

The preview version is also said to include a number of new software features in internal development, including a new cloud-based continuum mode, one-handed mode and Surface Memo functionality.

Microsoft currently operates the Insider program for Windows and Office. For several years, Microsoft has released previews with new features through the Windows Insider program, fixed numerous bugs, and then released official updates. The Windows Insider program reportedly has more than 10 million participants.
