Microsoft will improve the Windows 11 video calling experience at the system level

Windows 11

Microsoft has made system-level improvements to the video calling experience in Windows 11, including auto-framing (the camera keeps focusing on you as you move), enhanced speech intelligibility, sound focus, background blur, and more. One of the features, called eye contact, relies on AI, which it claims can improve the look and feel of a user’s gaze. In addition to this, there are live captions that have been in beta since February. Its scope of application includes the sound of microphone income and various audio from the Internet (such as YouTube), which is very useful for hearing-impaired people and scenes that require translation.

It should be noted that some improvements will require the computer’s hardware. After this round of updates, the overall online meeting experience of Windows 11 should be greatly improved.
