Today, the day before Lunar New Year’s Day, Minister of Public Administration and Security Sang-min Lee visited the incense burner of the 10.29 massacre citizen without warning.

At the time, only two members of the bereaved family were guarding the incense burner.

The bereaved families protested strongly, saying that Minister Lee had done ‘condolences with the thief’ without reflection or apology.

Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min, wearing a black coat, stood in front of the incense burner.

Minister Lee, who visited this place with two assistants, bowed his head as he moved in front of the portraits of the victims holding an artificial flower.

This is the first time Minister Lee has visited a citizen’s incense burner at Noksapyeong Station since the October 29 disaster.

However, today, the first day of the Lunar New Year holiday, only two bereaved families guard the incense burner.

The family members were very upset.

“Right now, only the bereaved family and the two people who are out right now haven’t come yet. Don’t just open it.”

Minister Lee, who met the bereaved family, bowed his head, but returned a cold reaction.

“Anyway, I’m sorry we can’t protect these young people well. The government will do its best to do what it can.”

After speaking for about a minute, Minister Lee immediately left.

“Resign! Resign!”

The bereaved family protested, saying that the Ministry of Public Administration and Security communicated the Minister’s intention to visit about two days ago, but did not inform a specific date or details of the visit, saying that Minister Lee sympathized with the thief’.

An official from the Ministry of Public Administration and Security said, “Minister Lee asked to meet with the bereaved family several times, but it did not happen.”
