“Don’t you know that you cannot and will not set a precedent for accepting some one-sided things in a state that have not even been discussed, do you want to come back immediately…”

The cargo union repeatedly demanded the abolition of the safe sunset price system and the expansion of eligible items, but the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs maintained its position that there was no compromise other than a three-year extension of the safe price system . .

Cargo Solidarity criticized the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs for not showing any willingness to negotiate.

Eo Myeong-so, second vice minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said, “I will report the situation of the Cargo Unity to the Office of the President, but the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has no authority or discretion. .”

In the midst of this, the government raised the emergency alert level to the highest level, ‘severe’, saying, “The state of logistics paralysis is a national emergency,” and launched the Central Security and Disaster Countermeasures Headquarters.

“If it is deemed that this situation is likely to cause a very serious crisis for the national economy, we will also issue a business commencement order in accordance with the Lorry Transport Business Act.”

If you don’t follow the order, you came out with a hard line policy that you will be punished.

The Cargo Solidarity said the government’s interpretation of the law was ambiguous and it would not hesitate to file legal action against the constitution.

Amidst the conflict, the result of the strike is visible everywhere.

The Korea Expressway Corporation received a call from highway gas stations saying that oil was not being delivered.

The road construction works are looking at the period that can last with the current stock amount of 2 weeks at the most.

Loading and unloading of containers at major ports has also decreased by more than 90%, and most of the cement transport vehicles have joined the strike, causing disruptions such as halting construction on apartment building sites.
