Miracle! Seventh trophy in Europe for Sevilla

The miracle of the Sevilla Europa League tournament continues!

The Spanish team won this tournament for the seventh time after beating Roma on penalties in Budapest. In regular time and overtime, the score was 1:1. And one more thing – four finals were taken by Sevilla after the crafty team trailed in the result!

The stands of the super-modern Puskas Arena stadium in Budapest were packed with 67,000 spectators, as the cheerleaders of both teams showed their choreographies for the final.

Dybala opened for the “wolves” in the 35th minute, and in the 55th minute his teammate Mancini scored an own goal in favor of the opponent.

In the 67th minute, the “Gialoros” almost did not restore their lead, but Bunu knocked out Abraham’s shot.

In the 75th minute, Ocampos entered the Roma penalty area and went down, and referee Anthony Taylor awarded a penalty to Sevilla. But replays clearly showed Ibanez played the ball before the striker went down. After reviewing the monitor, the English referee overturned the decision.

Seven minutes later, Roma also asked for a penalty for handball in the penalty area, but VAR did not even consider the situation.

And a great save from Yassin Bunu at the end that kept Sevilla in the game after Belotti’s shot from close range. The final went into extra time.

Another 30 minutes in which the result was not changed. Penalty!

There, the King of the Europa League was decisive – 4:1 and the seventh cup for Sevilla!
