Lee Seung-hyun, an economics student at Korea University, was elected the winner of the ‘Miss Korea 2022 pageant’.
The finals of the ’66th Miss Korea 2022 competition’ were held on the 26th at Blue Square, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
This year, out of the 54 candidates who won the regional qualifying rounds, only 30 were able to reach the finals after being judged.
Lee Seung-hyeon, 23, who rose through the ranks, introduced himself as a ‘trendsetter’. As a female CEO who develops her own brand value through various activities, she said, “My dream is to become the CEO of a global fashion brand.”
Lee Seung-hyun put the biggest crown on his head, thanked his family and friends, and said, “I will accept that the crown means doing better.”
The 25-year-old Si-eun Yoo from the Aviation Services Department of Yeonseong University in Seoul took the lead, and the 22-year-old Go-eun Kim from the Aviation Department at Inha Engineering and Construction took the lead.
On the other hand, the slogan of the 66th Miss Korea 2022 pageant is ‘Green Healing Moment – The most beautiful healing begins’, with the meaning of providing beautiful healing to those who enjoy the pageant together .
The 30 candidates showed their versatility, including a stage performance of Miss Korea’s first full-length album, ‘Dream on’, as well as a powerful dance stage and recreating a scene from the musical ‘Grease’. The fashion show was also full of great walking and poses.
The celebratory stage was organized by the rookie group of popera singer Luminous and world famous Paul Potts.
