“Missed as a wild boar” … 72-year-old taxi driver shot dead

Last night, at the foot of a mountain near the Gugi Tunnel in Seoul, a taxi driver was shot and killed by a man who was chasing a wild boar.

The accident happened in a dark mountain, where a taxi driver was mistaken for a wild boar.

The police applied for an arrest warrant for the postman.

Paramedics give first aid to a man who has fallen by the bushes in the dark.

At around 8:20 last night, a taxi driver in his 70s was shot at the entrance of Bukhansan Mountain near the Gugi Tunnel in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, and taken to the hospital, but eventually died.

A taxi driver parked his car at the entrance of Bukhansan Park and was on the side of the hiking trail, but was shot by a man in his 70s who was passing by.

The taxi driver was shot in the arm and side by a gunshot from a mountain side about 15 meters away and was taken to the hospital, but eventually died.

The police officer told the police that while chasing a wild boar from a dark mountain, he shot the taxi driver by mistaken it for a wild boar.

“It was dark when we lit it with a lantern (flashlight), so we couldn’t see it. The day before (the incident), we killed a wild boar here as well.”

Wild boars often appear in this area, and it is known that the stalkers often come and go even late at night.

“I see wild boars sometimes. Especially when it snows, there are quite a lot of wild boar footprints.”

“From March. Hide there and take it. The men say they catch pigs.”

The jeopsa who caused the accident belongs to the Seoul Wild Boar Appearance Prevention Team, and it has been confirmed that there is no reason for disqualification or a history of accidents related to hunting permits.

Yesterday, around 5:50 pm, I received a shotgun that was being stored at a police box in Jongno-gu, and it was on the way to catch wild boar.

Local governments and the Han River Basin Environment Agency pay 200,000 won each time they kill a wild boar.

The Seoul Western Police Department has requested an arrest warrant for the man on charges of manslaughter on the job.
